Lets me send faxes via email

Hello,

The person requiring this service lives in Australia and does not have a landline.

He does not need to receive just send.

Seems like there are lots of paid services but nothing free.

Not sure if it is a program he is looking for or just some kind of online service that is easy to use.

Regards,

Paul

Some paid online services also have a free service. The free services are limited and/or are ad-supported, but even so, may be adequate depending on the user's needs. I had a look around and found the following:
  • FaxZero
Send free Faxes to anywhere in the USA or Canada
Limit of 3 pages per Fax
Limit of 5 free Faxes per day
Ad supported (on the cover page)

  • GotFreeFax
Send free Faxes to anywhere in the USA or Canada
Limit of 3 pages per Fax.
Limit of 2 free Faxes per day
Ad supported (in the confirmation email)
I hope this helps.

Much appreciated.

I just found another as well called MyFax who offer a free option (can send 2 faxes in 24 hour period). Will test later today when my dad wakes up and turns his fax machine on :-)

Are you sure MyFax offers a free option? MyFax has a 30-day trial but no free option from what I see. Although I've come across the two I mentioned I've never had cause to try them. Please let us know how it goes. Good luck.

Hi,

This is the webpage I was referring to (moderator please remove if I'm not allowed to post this)

As you can see from the same link you posted, it's a 30-day trial. After the trial ends you cannot send any fax for free.

Hi Joe,

I don't think that is right.

My taking is that you can either take the 30 day trial and get an actual fax number that people can send faxes to and you can send faxes from OR

You can go the limited free fax sending option where you can only send a fax not receive one.

But I could be wrong.

Will let you know when dad wakes up to see if it worked :-)

Regards,

Paul
