Question Is like QuickBooks

I searched the site, but all the recommendations seemed to about five-eight years old. Preferably something that works without an Internet connection (like if I'm at a location without access and need to print invoices), but am open to both options.

Try the products in the article first. It's not like they are all out of date. I ran all these products to test for 64-bit compatibility so I know there are reasonable options for you.

Basic small-business accounting hasn't changed much within the last 5-6 years. The main advance has been web-based accounting software and you don't want that anyway.

the usual suspects are either GnuCash or Grisbi
- depends on whether you want double entry accounting - or not.

It would help if you told us what format it saves the files in!
