That diagnoses/fixes usb ports

I Want a Freeware Program that That diagnoses/fixes usb ports. My USB ports stopped working. does any body have suggestions.

I have a DeLL Latitude E6520 i updated the USB drivers, but the ports still dont work. it seems they will power things like my cell phone or a mouse, but they wont interact with the mouse or cell phone.

The biggest problem is that i cant print or scan.

Dell have a free system checker.

Thanks, but I already tried it with no success. Worse yet, it tells me to update drivers that have already been updated.

Like it tells me to upgrade to BIOS-19, but I already did that on from The Dell website about 2 days ago.

So does, anybody, really know how to turn on the USB ports

Not sure if this will help your problem, but have you tried going into Device manager and seeing if you can update your USB drivers there. You should be able to verify if they are working properly there as well. Hope that helps, post any updates to see if I can help further. Good luck!

Are they turned on in the BIOS?
