Default eBook format

Recently we've had a Hot Find item featuring Turn Your PC Into A Kindle. At our main site, we also have a review article Best Free Electronic Book Reader.

While not all eBook readers can read all the formats, it would be interesting to note that PDF has taken over EPUB as the most popular eBook format this year according to this article.

What's your comment?

Nice ! Thanks for pointing out e-book thread to me Jojoyee.

Yes, PDF is the go to choice for most people, although some conversions to PDF fail and look very bad for reading.

I use and reccommened STDU Viewer for reading .pdf, it's free

Most of my reading is in EPUB format with FBReader (another nice reader for Windows )

Almost forgot the STDU will read comic book format as well.

I thought that PDF has been the dominant format for e-books for years. I was wrong...I hate the thought of reading books from my desktop computer as I already use my computer excessively and prolonging my eye contact with the screen is only going to harm my health.

Blode.

I always prefer the universal PDF over more obscure formats, makes sharing much easier.
