Default Scheduling emails when offline

Im looking for a way to schedule emails. In firefox i have installed the boomerang add on that integrates into Gmail so that i can schedule emails to send at a specific date and time. I mainly use Thunderbird to access my email accounts, and the only add on i was able to find was "Send Later" the problem with that is my laptop has to be on and Thunderbird has to be running.

Is there a way or add on that will allow me to use Thunderbird to write the email and then schedule it so it connects to Gmail boomerang so the email will send when i am offline or not have Thunderbird running?
If it ain't broke don't fix it, improve it, break it then fix it

Use Boomerang within Gmail online to set-up.
