The most dangerous thing to a PC is the user!

Assuming you are getting infected via the Internet, try the following:

Avoid dodgy sites by installing WOT on your browser. This will never of course eliminate 100% the chance of going to a malicious site but it will help reduce the risk considerably.

Use Comodo DNS, Advantage DNS etc servers to surf the Internet.

Have a good firewall installed, along with anti-virus and other malware on-demand scanners which must be updated regularly. See #7 above and:

http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-firewall.htm

If you need help with a virus infection etc the take a look here:

http://realsecurity.web.officelive.com/default.aspx

Hope all the above helps!

If the virus keeps reappearing it could be your System Restore points are also infected. To turn System restore off and then on see this guide here:

http://www.malwarehelp.org/how-to-di...on-or-off.html

Adware tracking cookie: though not malicious they are an invasion of your privacy. I recommend you install this:

Hopefully this will solve your PC problems!!
