Hi, I'm I having issues with my computer. I have Compaq Presario SR5110NX Desktop PC and it normally runs on vista but I prefer xp home so I installed that today and now I'm having problems with scrolling. Whenever I scroll the page a sort of break in the page occurs then it quickly reloads the page, giving kind of a wave effect. It's odd to describe unless you can see it. Anyways I am thinking that this is due to not having the right graphic driver for xp, but compaq only gives drivers for vista. (I can't think it would be anything else(viruses etc) because this happened directly after I installed and I tried changing the resolution but it didn't help). Any answers or suggestions of what I could do (what else may be causing this) or where I could get a graphic driver? Thanks.

Hi vampypoo13,
Welcome to the forum! ![]() It sounds like a driver problem to me and not a virus. Right click My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager If you see any yellow and black exclamation marks this will indicate that you need to update the appropriate drivers. See also: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...nddrivers.mspx Whenever you update a driver always make certain you go to the vendors website and not some other third party site that could end up causing more problems on your system! Hope this is of some help. ![]()
