ATI Driver Installation?

hi

im havin problems about the installation for my :confused:ATI Radeon 9600/x1050 series.
everytime im try to install the driver windows keeps on showing a message like this:
Quote:

/!\ The software you are installing for this hardware: ATI Radeon 96xx/X1xxx series
has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Wndows XP. (Tell me why this testing is important.)

Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo Testing.

well i download the software from ati site

If you are installing the latest driver available from the official website, and you're sure you have the correct one for your OS and graphics card, IMHO it should be ok to go ahead.

This TweakGuides article is a great place to start before you install your ATI drivers. It has a section on how to properly update your drivers and set them up correctly. It's a bit long but well worth the read.

Also, check you used this official website to download your drivers from.
