Default Os installation

First of all i like the site very much . u r doing good job. Is it possible to install Os thats having Raid Drivers (Especially for Vista enabled Pcs). on Normal desktop machine.
There are No. of Os s that are available freely on the web.Please kindly suggest

By Os, do you mean Linux or Windows? What's wrong with your current one (Vista)?

Many modern OS's will support software RAID and configuring will be dependent on your hard drive configurations. If you are talking about Hardware RAID, then you will be dependent on the supplied drivers given by the hardware vendor. I find Hardware RAID to be more tricky under Windows than Linux installations, but your experiences may vary.
