Default displaying hidden files

If I display files hidden on a computer by changing under the control panel - 'Folders', selecting the tab - 'View' - and selecting "Show hidden files and folders" and access the document I'm looking for...will all these previously hidden folders go back to their hidden status - if I click onto "Do Not Show hidden files and folders"?

Yes, they will be returned back to their hidden status.

But, for anyone who knows how to use computers, this is quite an easy way to find hidden files and folders. You can make use of simple folder/file hiding software available freely, which hide the folder/files, and also protect them with a password. Check these out :

MyLockBox : http://www.techsupportalert.com/cont...my-lockbox.htm

WinMend Folder Hidden : http://www.winmend.com/folder-hidden/

Both are good, simple, and efficient programs.
