Thumbnail views in web folders.

I have a web folder set up in Win XP that accesses a group of folders on my web hosting account containing a fair number of image files. I can see the files themselves, but haven't found any way to preview the images whether that be thumbnails in windows explorer or any other.

A Google search revealed two other people asking about the same thing, but no solutions. Perhaps I am not using the correct terminology.

Does anybody know of a utility or something that will facilitate viewing of the image thumbnails?
