Just wondering if any of you have an opinion where is the best free site to temporarily host files for download? (i.e. a download mirror)

I am not sure what you mean.
If its something like an online site where you can upload a file for other to download then I use dropbox. I googled free hosting for dowloading files and google came up with these choices: http://www.google.com/search?q=free+...ient=firefox-a Hope this helps ![]() cheers Wdhpr Last edited by wdhpr; 31. Try Dropi.io for the normal low-volume file downloads, Amazon S3 for high-volume downloads (it's what we use for our big download offers when the software author cannot host that level of traffic). Drop.io is free, Amazon is amazingly cheap even for high-traffic downloads.
