Help I'm lost
For some odd reason overnight I've lost the ability to display video in Firefox, I just get a 'install latest flash player' message.
It was working when I 'zonked out' at about 18:00 UK time, it's now 01:57 and it doesn't work. Help, advice? Rik |
Might want to try and install latest player. I like to uninstall the old one before installing the new player: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashp.../instructions/

I believe Firefox doesn't automatically check for updates to Flash Player and some plugins.
Here is a possibly helpful link that Firefox provides as an alternative: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ I guess another option is to use regular checks with something like Secunia or another software updater. |
Switch to Seamonkey or Cometbird :D

Go to Tools > Add-ons.
Then when the Add-ons windows appears, click the plugins tab. Make sure Shockwave Flash is enabled. |
