I am currently using a PC running Vista.
However I get the following problem, Vista boots - goes blank - I type - "Ctrl-Alt-Del" and I get the following error message "Failure - Security Options" Do you have any suggestions as how to fix this "problem"? |

Can you hit F8 while booting and get into SAFE mode? If you can get into safe mode, you should be able to run some anti-virus and anti-malware scans.
If not, then you next step is to create a rescue CD and boot off that CD. http://www.techsupportalert.com/crea...-rescue-cd.htm Do you have backups? Probably do not want to get too much deeper in repairing the system until you have suitable backups. Again, a rescue CD can help with that task. |

Most likely is a security software conflict or something installed and not compatible with Vista (especially if you have a x64 system) or it could be something different. See these links for examples of what others found.
