dellv105 inkjet printer
I have a problem in that there is one item in the printing queue and no matter what I do I can't get rid of it. It won't print and it won't delete. Nothing else will print because of this.I've even tried deleting the whole printer programme off my laptop and then planned to re load it but it won't allow this until this printing job is finished but this appears to be stuck. I've seen a notice that says no communication with printer and also one to do with spoolers. I've used dell on line support and did all it said to no avail. I'm using re fillcartridges but have been using these for a good while with no problems. Canany one make any suggestions? thanks

Have you tried completely turning off your computer and the printer for a full minute? This has worked for me in the past. Also, try unplugging your printer and the printer cable for at least a couple minutes.
If those don't work, try out the various methods found in this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946737 |
1. Go to run or the command prompt (Press "windows" key + "r") and type net stop spooler
2. Now go delete the print job from the printing queue 3. Then back go back and type net start spooler |
my printer
Hi,Thanks for that, I had already tried the first suggestion but that doesn't work, tried it again any way--the same. I did the second thing and tried to delete the print job but I'm afraid it didn't work. When I went and pressed cancel the document another box comes up which says "are you sure you want to delete this " and I ticked yes but it's still there. Underneath status inthe printer box it says deleting but it's like that a while now. Has any one any other suggestions????
