Thanks again, appreciate your extensive feedback.
Outlook might be a secretaries' thing, but i do like the native "Word" type correction feature.

I'm sorry, but what do you mean by "outlook might be a secretaries' thing"? Millions of business people use Outlook everyday. My company could not function without it!

Was merely referring to satrow's previous post:
"...it's better suited to a dedicated PC (and a secretary!), imo"

Personally, for a while there was a tug of war in my decision making: Thunderbird or Outlook? - but this would be getting away from the initial thread.

My hunch tho, is that Outlook, being so intimately connected to Word probably has an impact like Word itself on page file too.

The implication being that it's better suited to a business than a single user, or relegated to a second machine if the user has one available

Of course, if the user has a fast enough PC, running Outlook/MS Office shouldn't be too much of a drain on System resources.
