I removed the Seagate software files and saved them elsewhere. When the Disk is opened it shows blank. There is nothing in it, but the disk 'Properties' show 'Used Space' as 1.42 GB. How is that?

Managed to make something out of this but the command prompt 'vssadmin list shadowstorage' shows the shadow copy storage for 'C' but nothing about the external hard disk. Properties show Capacity 931 GB, Free Space 930 GB. That part of it is fine but I am still in the dark about the 1.42 GB Used Space that it still shows.
