Default Save a Google Doc to SD Card

Hi, from a soon to be cold South Africa.

I need your expertise!

We bought a Lenovo Ideatab s6000 (Android) and downloaded the Google docs app to store documents.

We are fond of cut and paste GOOD Recipes and store them on docs.

My question is:- I would like to save them onto the SD card. (Where would these docs be stored? I have downloaded the ASTRO file manager, but cannot find the documents)

My worry is, if something goes wrong with the tablet, all these docs are gone.

The only thing that I could do so far is to email each and every one to our Email account and then save them on the PC and then back them up to an external drive.

Regards
Andre_f

If your document is in Google Doc format, you can download it in pdf format. Or if in Word format, you can make a copy to your device.

In a document that opens from Google Drive or Docs, select Menu > Details > Download, it then saves the document in the Download folder. From the Astro file manager, browse to storage > sdcard0 > Download to locate the file.

Hope this helps.
