Default Repair MP4 files

Is there a freeware that will allow me to fix mp4 files?

I recorded a video on my mobile, but then moved it to the SD card because i was running low on space. when it moved it bacme corrupted, I tried moving it back to internal storage but it was still corrupted. so i transfered it to my laptop.

Is there anyway i can repair the video file? or is it lost forever?

I did some research and found this:

This software is free and Softpedia doesn't report any unwanted extras.

From a statement on the home site, it appears that you can also send the file to their experts who will try to repair it. There's nothing to indicate whether this latter service is free or not.

Lastly, I have never used this software so please use at your own risk.

Thanks for the reply. I was dubious if file repair software like this work on mp4 files. I done a Google search and they seemed to be software you had to pay for. So I came here when I typed it into the search here I didn't find anything.

I'll give it a go and let people know what happened. Hopefully it will work.

Sorry it didn't work, but thanks for the feedback all the same. Like I said, I never used it but it came up in my searches. So were they pushing software for you to buy when you tried it? That's not a good sign.

did you tried running that mp4 file with VLC media player. Sometimes VLC runs files that other media players find corrupted.
