Default Laptop keys not working correctly

Yes i had the bright idea of using the laptop in the kitchen while I was washing up YES WHILE I WAS WASHING UP, BECAUSE I'M STUPID and some of the buttons have stopped working. The @ symbol has swapped with the " and the hash and the squiggly mustache (s on its side) have disappeared completely and have been replaced with / or \ or |.

What should I do should I reinstall windows????

Please help!!!!

If any fluid got into the laptop, which I guess is the case from what you write, then it will be a hardware issue, rather than a software issue. So, even if you reinstall Windows, it won't help IMO. Maybe take the laptop to a service center.

This is my opinion and guess from what you write.

Let's see if others agree too.

You may be able to get a replacement keyboard for it (Ebay?)
I've bought new ones.
