I am only an experienced newbie using Win XP with FOXIT READER for viewing PDF files vs Adobe.
I emailed Gizmo, and Ian Richards replied that he had no answer and to try the forum: A recent newsletter mentioned several online PDF creators. Several suggestions were given >>>>> http://pdfcrowd.com/ http://www.nitropdf.com/pdf-reader http://www.web2pdfconvert.com/ The site I tried to save as a PDF file for the on page TUTORIAL was this >>>>> http://www.howtogeek.com/125032/how-...sing-sessions/ The whole page was there MINUS the pix in the tutorial = that is the PROBLEM. I tested ALL THREE PDF creators and got the same result - only the FIRST pix from the site was there My PDF file created is too big for posting here. +++++++ I am having the same problem with CUTE PDF which I have installed on this computer = often only the FIRST pix on a webpage will be displayed in the PDF. Hence when I saw the free ONLINE PDF creators, I thought that would work = not so. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I doubt that it has anything to do with the problem, but I am using Win XP and using FOXIT READER 5.0 as my viewer. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Welcome to the forum
![]() I tried the online converters, and they did not work. I think the reason for that (from what I see from the output pdf file) is that the online converters are opening the page in some cache etc, and then converting to pdf, which causes the images to be still loading at the time of conversion. I have DoPdf pdf writer installed on my system. I printed the page using DoPdf and it works perfectly. It was able to provide a pdf file, with all the images on the webpage. Give it a try ![]() DoPdf: http://www.dopdf.com/ In case you do not know how a pdf writer works... when you install a pdf writer on your system, like DoPdf, you will see a new printer as DoPdf in the printer list. So, when you want to convert something to pdf, just use the Print option, select DoPdf, and then print to it. It will output a pdf file.

I just tried the same page with DoPdf as well : )
It prints the complete page for me too except that a lot of the images are split between pdf pages. Fwiw latest versions of Foxit now include a pdf printer which works in the same way as DoPdf and similar progs. |

This explains why you've got the first image printed and the rest are missing since the online pdf converters unfortunately have not handled that plugin. To have all images loaded, try to scroll to them, then use one of the virtual printers, such as doPDF as mentioned by Anupam, to print the page into a pdf file. Or even better, use a browser such as Chrome which has this feature "Save as PDF" under Print. The links are clickable in the resulting pdf file when you use this feature, where a virtual printer usually does not preserve clickable links. |
