Default New Processor

I have a Acer M3450-UR30P with a AMD FX-4100 processor running windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I would like to upgrade my processor to a AMD FX-8350 processor. Will this work without any problems?

It's up to your mobo.

AMD FX 4100 features a 95W TDP (termal design power) . Mobo can provide at least 95 W to feed the 4100. Now the FX8350 needs 125W when running at full power so you really need your mobo to support 125W TDP

What's your motherboard model?

Check in its manual for TDP info. Or just google model.

If it's able to handle 125 Watts processors there should be no problem.
If for any reason it's not detected correctly, there's a BIOS option that will help you with this. Only if you need to.
