FIXED!
Thanks for your suggestions ![]() Yes, it turned out that Bitdefender is not supposed to be uninstalled that way, but with its own uninstaller. Which I then run, but with no success (harm was already done). So I posted this in BleepingComputer and they suggested to run: sfc /scannow command...and the chkdsk /r command Then it asked me to enter the Windows repair disk CD for copying some dllīs and such, and after rebooting all is working fine again. Welll... its not fixed after all...
I have make a new reboot, and the same problems are appearing again... ![]() The thing is that sound is working again. Windows Update is not working: it says they couldnīt be installed The startup programs are not working either... Windows installer is not working... Last edited by Nen; 23. Mar 2013 at 02:02 PM. |

IMHO, you've hit on a good help site in choosing BleepingComputer. There are lot of very experience people there. I'd say stick with them and follow-up your thread with the issues you continue to experience. Be sure to give them full details of what is happening.
