What O.S are you using?
For Win7 try this: Click Start button and type "performance" and select the option "Adjust appearance and performance of Windows". In Visual Effects tab, scroll down and tick the check box "Use Drop Shadows......" Let me know if it worked

I just realized the ambiguity of my title statement, I apologise profously if anyone has taken it the wrong way ? we have to be so careful as we dwell in this touchy age ! The way I see it is that, God has made of one blood of all mankind that dwells upon the earth, no matter who you are if you cut your hand the same colour blood comes out ! therein is the equality ! cheers revboy !

We all know this is a software forum, so no one will think of things the wrong way, but yes, while posting a thread, you should choose a title, which will properly reflect the issue, or problem, that you are going to post about.
I have now changed the title.

About reading the rules on forums and sites, even we are no exception, atleast I am not. But still, it's important to atleast be aware of certain guidelines that are required to post on forums, and I agree with you that it really makes the task of finding things difficult when people do not choose the right title for their threads.

I'd just like to clear the air in case my previous comment was taken wrongly. I certainly didn't meant to criticize revboy's choice of heading. In fact, I don't find anything wrong with it at all, because sometimes a person can only describe an issue based on their limited understanding of it. In fact, that's why it's an issue in the first place. And I agree with garth that anyone who's that picky has a problem themselves.
So to clarify: my comment was just a general observation about threads that can be found all over the Internet. Therefore, to revboy or anyone else who may have gotten a different meaning - I humbly apologize. Joe |
