Hi.
I was going to download bullzip pdf printer as recomended here http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...pdf-writer.htm but when I looked at one of the recent comments I saw that one of the other highly recomended products in the section, PDFcreator, may include toolbars and malware. This made me a little cautious, so I was wondering if someone can comfirm that bullzip is still a safe product. Thanks. |

Yes, it is safe. On one installation screen though, it shows checkboxes to install Ghostscript lite, and pdf tools. Make sure you uncheck the pdf tools option if you don't want it.
PdfCreator is safe too. It includes pdfforge toolbar, but while installation, it gives you the screen where you can opt out of it. The software contains no malware. If a software contains malware, it won't be listed on our site. As far as possible, our editors evaluate every software, and include warnings as appropriate, if any software contains any extra bundled material.

Thanks for clearing that up about bullzip. As for possible malware in PDFcreator I realise that no application containing malware would get a recomendation, but this comment, http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...#comment-87211 seems to indicate that it may have gone bad at some point.
Thanks. |

Sometimes people do not pay attention while installation, and get toolbars, and other things, and then blame either the vendors, or the reviewers for not telling them about it. Not anyone's mistake, but their own.
Anyways, I installed PdfCreator after reading that comment, didn't find any suspicious thing yet.
