Default AOMEI Backupper

AOMEI Backupper has been covered in the Best Free Drive Cloning Software, here:

http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...g-software.htm

I installed it on my Windows 8.1 32-bit system, and used it to backup the system disk. Worked great (Joe, you reading this?). I did not try to create image for the whole drive though, as it is a big drive (1 TB) with large amount of data.

It can backup the whole drive, or individual partitions too.

Seems like a great program with good features. The website is here:

http://www.backup-utility.com/free-backup-software.html

There is the option to check the image after backup, which worked great too.

Haven't tried restoring though, or creating the bootable media. Will try to do so some time.

There is the option to use VSS (Volume Shadow Service) of Windows, or not use it, in which case, the software will use its own service. I kept the VSS feature on. Haven't tried it without VSS. Interesting though, that the software has its own service.

Yes, I am reading this Anupam. However, I'm settled with Paragon B&R 2014 at this time and it's working fine. Nevertheless, I'm still thankful for the feedback. Maybe some time in the future I'll feel the inclination to try Aomei Backupper again but not just yet.

No problem, Joe. You wanted to know if the program worked on my system, and it did.

It's always best to stick with a program that works for you.

Your system RAM is less than 4GB?
