Default Vuze suddenly finding almost no torrent results?

Hello

Ive been using Vuze as my chosen torrent client for a few years now and whenever I have noticed a drop in the number of search results its always been a simple case of sourcing and installing some updated templates

I always go to the same googlesite to get up to date templates and would post link here to what I have, but unsure Im allowed to post links?

I have always been able to find many results for a given search. However approx 1-2 weeks ago this changed and Im now finding almost no results even for a popular file. When I do find results many of them appear to be a single peer and when I select it it fails and says 'cannot open as not a torrent'

I am running Vuze 5.3 on Win 8. I have a friend who has also experienced this degradation also and he uses a different ISP and is running Vuze on a mac

Something has changed drastically, does anyone know what?

Cheers

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Actually, Steve, who has written the majority of the articles on torrents on the site, is the most, and probably the only knowledgeable person among us who knows much about torrents. Presently, he is not active on the site perhaps.

If he sees your query, he will answer it for sure.

Otherwise, please just wait to see if anyone else has knowledge about this to answer your query. Sorry for the delay.

Pretty old news by now, but kickass torrents has been taken down by the authorities FYI.

Have you tried the Vuze user Forum? You can go to it directly by opening Vuze. There is a link in the menu bar.
