Same here. Very frustrating trying to log in. Browser showing 'unsecure log in' when typing in the text fields to log in. Shows me logged into the main site but not the forum. I've had problems on and off for a while now, but it's much worse now after the upgrade.

Thanks guys for reporting the issues while our team members are trying to fix them after the upgrade.

For the time being, you may want to try to go to the forum using https (https://www.techsupportalert.com/freeware-forum/) instead of http (http://www.techsupportalert.com/freeware-forum/) [Note: at time of writing this post, the link to the forum from the main site is using the latter, i.e. http]

When you're on the forum page using https (https://www.techsupportalert.com/freeware-forum/), you should be able to log in to the forum directly using the login box on the top-right corner of the forum page.

Give it a try and let us know if it works for you.

Thank you Jojo, that seemed to work well for me.

That's been happening for me too. Hit the refresh button manually, and the post will appear.

Doesn't solve the problem for me, the new link. I don't see 'Login not secure' with the https like I do with the http, and it lets me log in. But once I'm logged in and I click a forum category or thread link it shows I'm logged out again.

To post this I had to log in on the main site then use the forum tab link, and it worked. I can click through the forum and it doesn't log me out.

Using the http forum address, Opera shows 'Login not secure' in the password text window and won't allow you to log in. Edge is the same, although it doesn't display 'Login not secure' it still won't let you log in on the forum page.

Is it a browser specific issue, or how you have it set, extensions etc? .... or does the same problem occur no matter which browser you use?

It has been happening lately, on occasion. You enter your user name and password but you're redirected to the page that asks if you've lost your password, or if you'd like to change it. Clear the browser cache and it would work thereafter. But with this latest login problem clearing the cache etc. makes no difference. You just can't log in to the forum.

Of late, if I want to post something in the forum I make sure I type it into a note pad or whatever before posting, or copy the post text before clicking 'Post Quick Reply' because there's a chance that once you've clicked that you get logged out and your post is lost. That is frustrating, and I'm sure other users have had that happen, then just given up the ghost and not posted at all. I've done it myself when time doesn't permit me to go through it all again, or try a workaround for the logging in issue.

Trying it now, it seems to be fixed? No problems logging in to the forum page now. Tried it with a couple of browsers, no Login not secure message shows now. URL shows https also.

It also now works for me. I was able to log right in; even without having to go over to the main site.

Thank you to whoever made the fix!

Yes, it seems to be fixed. I logged in to the main site, and then moved to the forum. I was logged in. Just like before. Great!

New Posts problem seems to be fixed too, as well as the issue when posting a new reply.

Thank you Gizmo team .
