Default Mydefrag

Under the title "Best free windows 64 bit defragmeter"
If I click on the link "Mydefrag" I end up on a web site which seems not correct and Malwarebytes highlight "trojan". Please fix the link so people dont get malware.
I finally got Mydefrag from Filehippo.

The link directs to Softpedia which is safe.

FYI MyDefrag hasn't been updated since 2010.

The link in the 64 bit article referred to did point to somewhere else before I changed it for Softpedia to match the review link.

The original link most likely did not contain malware (Malwarebytes in particular is riddled with false positives) but it's always best practice to point to a reputable third party download site in case of doubt.

Why does it NEED updating?
It does it's job well enough as it is.
Some of us actually prefer to use functional software that hasn't been changed to include sponsors and advertising and new unnecessary tweaks just to keep it "up to date".

I agree 100%.
I only mentioned the software is 9 years old before the member accuses Gizmo's Freeware of giving a good rating to outdated software.
