That has to be one of my favourite OMD tracks deya, so thanks for sharing!

Many years ago when I was experimenting with my new found love of photography I stumbled across the Gramophone Suite: it was where OMD recorded their debut album, which included the track Messages. Standing at the back of the studio in an alleyway it slowly dawned on me that this was indeed OMD's studio and as I stood there in a moment of electro-pop reverie the door at the back of the studio burst open and there stood Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys aka OMD!
I don't know who was more surprised me or OMD. I had a trusty Zenit SLR camera around my neck, but instead of seizing a great photo opportunity I blurted out something along the lines of, 'How's the album coming along?' They replied that things were going fine and once they realised I wasn't working for the music press as a photographer they went their separate ways, leaving me to rue a missed chance of an NME/Sounds front page photo!!

Great story, torres. I saw them on the TV on Friday night, a program about synth pop or something and Andy McCluskey was explaining how they got started. He always comes across as a really nice guy, and they're a great band.
