I listen to this pretty little song about 20 times last night. Over and over. When it was over, I wanted to listen to it one more time. Short and pretty.

This guys are called Aventura, they are from The Dominican Republic. Their style of music is called Bachata. The song that I am posting is Amor de madre (Mothers love). Its a beautiful song with powerfull lyrics. This song was so successful when it came out that later, they released a sequel. So, here is Amor de madre, the video includes a rough translation to English that is OK.

I haven't posted much from Bruce Springsteen but many many years ago I use to listen to Bruce all the time, I remember at one time listening to Born to run every day for maybe a year or so, it kind of pumped me up.
But I am not going to post Born to run, I think this songs are better and more meaningful. Atlantic city is an story about a couple mixed with mobster from Philly who owned Atlantic city at the time. The chicken man that Bruce is talking about at the beginning of the song was a real Philly mobster who was blown away by his under boss. He owned a chicken business so they called him the chicken man. And Thunder road, its the road. This are great songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNT9uP5bW7g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-I579UTHm-o Bo |

I really like some of Springsteen's stuff, possibly because some of his hits take me back to being 16 years old and a tad drunk
![]() Me, I'm totally up with the times and enjoying Daniel Barenboim's interpretations of Beethoven's piano sonatas; this one in particular melts me into a gurgling heap of emotional appreciation :P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrcOcKYQX3c And here's the whole lot... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eM68...C7F6D462B043AA |
