I read that too, Bo. Be nice if it happened, she has a lovely voice, wrote some great songs.

We've been listening to Loreena McKennitt this afternoon, think I may have put these up before but can't remember. They're live at The Alhambra, Granada, Spain. Another lovely voice, great musicians. One of the guys here likes all this stuff, and these songs have grown on me.

Love some of the old traditional instruments they play, the eastern sound they produce.

I am a big fan of Christine. She played with the band at a concert in London this past September (in one song). Their are amateur videos in Youtube of the concert but they are pretty bad videos. I think she will play again with the band, they want to, she wants to, its gonna happen

Some people think Dylan was terrible singing, his style was his own though, thats what I like about him.

This song was written by Dylan more than 50 years ago, is about an old girlfriend. He was like 18 when he wrote it. Since I couldn't find a nice version by Dylan in YouTube, I ll post this one by CSN. This guys were great while I was growing up and since no one has ever said that they couldn't sing, here they are.

I heard the message of this song from many of you this week, thank you all.

But Dylan was terribly singing! (Today he's not any better.) Still his true spirit lives in his lyrics. "Blonde on Blonde" - World's most lyrical album even many decades after being released.

A version of a Bob Dylan song, Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues, by Bryan Ferry. Must say I'm not much of a fan of Bryan Ferry but I reckon he does a good version of this song, and others. He made an album called Dylanesque featuring his interpretations of Dylan songs. It's quite good.

This is a live version from 2007 at LSO St. Lukes, London;

.... nice listening to the James Tayler, Bo

A lot of people agree with you about Dylans singing. In fact, he is uaually listed in the top ten among "Bad singers that sound great". Four of the singers in this guys list are among my all time favorite musicians (Dylan, Neil, Stevie Nicks and Tom Waits).

Personally, I think Dylan, Neil and Bruce Springsteen ought to retire. I hope they never read this. I love their music so much that I could spend a whole days listening to only one of their songs over and over and still want more but all three of them really sound bad now. To me they are like an old baseball or football player that is way way from their prime and should have retired years ago.

I think Stevie still sounds great now and I love her music very much. I am really surprised that this guy included Stevie in the list. Neil, Waits and Dylan are always mentioned when people talk about bad singers. Tom Waits is an interesting case. He is a hall of famer and I like his music a lot but I have never dared posting one of his songs here. You got to learn how to enjoy and understand Mr Waits. Most great musicians of our time recognize him as one of them.

Tom Petty, Panzer .... great stuff. Really like Tom Petty. My favourite is Learning to Fly, a great song. Here's a live version;

Nice one deya, one of the thing about Stevie that always got to me is what she did with crowd in concerts. To me, she is always gonna be Miss Rock n Roll, watch Miss Pretty kill the audience at the end of the first song (after 4:05).
