Clifford T Ward - another very good song writer.

Scullery;

He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the 1980's, then in 2001 got pneumonia and died.

Such a shame. A very talented man. Wrote some lovely songs.

Thanks deya. I had never heard of CTW before. Last night I read about him, his career and listened to some of his other songs.

Hey Celtics, that's a pretty nice song by Bon Iver.

I love this song by the guy from Jersey. I think this is Springsteen at its best.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhQKhlpE7XE

The Chicken man that Bruce talks about in the song was this guy here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Testa

Testa was one of the baddest guys in Philadelphia in the 1980s. When Bruce talks about the racket boys and trouble bustin in from outta state, he is talking about the Philly mob taking over Atlantic city during the 80s. The song is also about the danger involved in associating yourself (taking a job) with the mob. Very good song by Bruce S.

Bo

Edit: Found a better version.

Remembering Harry. He could really tell a story. He was an incredible song writer and story teller but on top of that, he was a fine human being.

Here is Bruce S in a 1987 tribute to Harry, talking about him and while playing one of Harry's songs, he is also telling us story's about Harry the way Harry use to do it in his own concerts when he was alive.
