Why have a one-necked guitar when you can have a three-necked?! (Mandolin, 12 string and 6 string.)

Bo, you got me thinking about old songs from the radio, as mentioned in your post. The one song that always sticks in my mind from the radio when I was a kid is this one;

Hadn't quite reached my teens when it came out. Still a great song.

Hey Hey deya, the Queen of soul, here is Duane Allman playing really nasty slide on Ms. Franklins version of The Weight. This song by The Band is "listed #41 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list. Great song and one that I love (the version by The Band).

One more with Duane and Ms. Franklin. I think you are going to like this one a lot, deya.

Slow hand and JJ Cale. Eric, is one of the nicest persons in the music world. I have great admiration for him, for what his willing to do to help other musicians to become known and successful. He has done it many times and does it happily in every opportunity that he has. I tip my hat for you, Mr. Clapton.
