As for me, I don't have any desktop icons at all. Everything is either in the start menu, quick launch, or somewhere inside my drives.
The reason for that is because I have more than 11 thousand wallpapers. There were thousands of others that I've deleted. Yup, I'm a collector, and I've seen every one of my walls at least once (memory overdose!). They're all managed by my Nuonsoft Wallpaper Cycler Lite, which I recommend to everyone who has a large collection.
Anyways, here's my current (and temporary) desktop:

If this particular picture can be downloaded as a desktop, how (where) do I do (get) it? Thank you.

Still hosted in Imageshack, you can click at the image link, click full size and right-click it to save image as another file, but you will get JL's taskbar. Use an image editor to crop it or better still ask JL to send you one.

Thanks debtboy for the wallpaper. While reviewing some Linux software, I've added a puzzle game, Picpuz, for Linux in the category Best Free Jigsaw Puzzle and Creator. The wallpaper is one of the puzzles now. :)

XP with Ultra Theme patcher (I think that's what it's called) installed so I could change my taskbar colour. I have a really old version of Webshots which I think I downloaded before I bought this pc in 2003 and am still using that to change my wallpaper once a day. It provides my screensaver as well. Not sure where today's wallpaper came from, I gather them from all over.
