Oh well, I give up. It's too hot here to think much today, although some might say I have a problem with that even when it's cold :D

Anyway, forget those expensive pocket thingies that have "mug me" written all over them and take a look at a man's machine :D

Just had to show Dreamlinux with Rhiannon's latest wallpaper find because it's excellent. :)

Wow 2.8MB, VB couldn't load it fully on my Chrome. At the end I used a separate FDM to download and view it. Good transparent effect and nice wallpaper.

There might be a need to set up another rule to RIOT your image down to only 80 KB for posting wallpaper. Anupam what do you think? :D

Anupam 11. Jan 2012 12:55 PM

Fully agree :p ... because, really, big images take up lot of time to load... and for forums atleast, we should post small images which will load faster, and of proper size too.. I don't like horizontal scroll, and I don't have a wide monitor. Have mercy :p

never understood the entire transparent effect hype... maybe i like having my boundaries, but i like seeing where 1 thing ends and the other starts :D this case being things like windows/task bar

I don't like borders to outline icons because i consider them part of desktop, but windows/task bar to me are not part of desktop :S

Wonder what you do with the 10 seconds saved? :p

Also, instead of using a horizontal scroll, try picking up the monitor and shaking the image to the side you want. Works for me every time :D :p

You might be surprised for some it never completes loading and it ends up with a small icon instead of a fully loaded image.

I was quite surprised by the power of RIOT which can reduce the weight of an image from 2.8 MB to just 80 KB. But most people won't care so much until they realize its power. :D
