Sometimes an un-bootable Windows can result from the first time use of this type of tool or maybe you could run for a year or more without any problems. I just offer an opinion based purely on observation and that is when we were servicing live customers, more Windows installs were needed because of registry cleaners than were ever caused by malware infections.
