Which port is set for uTorrent?

Did you forward that port through the router or use NAT-PMP?

If the port, did you allow incoming and outgoing communications for both TCP and UDP?

Are you on a network such as school, apartment building etc.?

Is it possible for you to connect to the internet not using the router?

As far as Mac and firewall, I know very little about Mac. From looking around the web my understanding is that there is a firewall at default.
