The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary;

... totally epic song.

Came across some old footage of them playing The Hippodrome, London in 1986. Videos were posted by Lez Warner who was the drummer in the band at that time. They're in black and white, a bit grainy, sound's not perfect but still good. They capture The Cult at their best though, and with what I think was their best line up - Lez Warner drums, Jamie Stewart bass, a charismatic Ian Astbury, vocals, and Billy Duffy playing the trademark Gretch White Falcon guitar.

First song is Big Neon Glitter;

... and then a great live version of She Sells Sanctuary;

Seen The Cult live several times over the years, always a great night out, tons of energy and Billy Duffy never misses a note, he's one of the best rock guitarists out there. To me, The Cult are a 'proper' British rock band. Driving beat, no messing about - whatsoever
