Is it that similar to VBox then? I was thinking to give it a try but the freeware release doesn't cover the portable version sadly. I'll probably give it a spin anyway out of interest.

But anyway yes, if so the guest add-ons are essential if you want your virtual OS and host OS to have mutual access to the same files.
