You may have to turn on the setting to show hidden files and folders. See these links:

In addition to that, you can also uncheck the checkbox for "Hide protected operating system files", to show system files.

Then try to locate the minidump folder under Windows again.

If it's not there, look for a file called memory.dmp in Windows folder.

After you locate these files, you can again change the settings back to as they were before, so that you or anyone does not mess around with the system or hidden files.
