Finally downloaded the Deepin ISO and Have been running it in "live" mode. I think what makes this distro so good is its simplicity. Its very straight forward and intuitive, elegance through simplicity. It certainly is attractive, everything looks as if it belongs there.

The reverse side of simplicity is the difficulty to configure and modify settings especially things requiring root access. The file manager does not have the settings I'm used to. Although the launch bar is attractive it lacks the ability to set it up to my liking. The start menu throws the the Icons up on the desktop screen but I prefer more traditional menu. Some of these issues could very well be from running the distro in "live mode" All in all This distro has provoked my curiosity so I'm going to give it a go with a full install.
