I've been described as tenacious before, during my government contracts, but reading between the lines I wondered if they were actually meaning something a bit less complimentary.

Today I just swapped over the cables between the two boxes so now I have Deepin as my main system. I'll repeat that if Gnome 3 looked like this when it was first released, I don't think we'd have seen so many DE forks appearing.

Memory use is great but CPU is higher. No big deal though because it's only a piece of kit and is meant to be used and not left idle. Looks like the Superkaramba desktop clock and date are responsible for some of the extra CPU so I'll look to see if there is any way to get the default panel clock customized instead. I have a variable speed fan on this machine anyway so I'll soon be aware if it starts complaining.

Buy a Hoover and prove technology sucks.
