Yes, I think for JavaRa to run, it will require Java to be installed first. Well, uninstalling JRE from Add/Remove Programs leaves behind files and folders... that is why JavaRa is required .

You can follow what Bo suggests, if you are sure that Java has been uninstalled from the system.

JDK should have been removed when Java was uninstalled.
