I had installed two add-ons which were listed in the MakeUseOf article, to try them out. However, I think one of the add-on caused problems for me. It led to Firefox using high memory and high CPU usage. I suspect that one of these two was a problem, because after I removed them yesterday, Firefox has been behaving good.

The add-ons were :

I had disabled this one, because I wanted to try out one at a time. So, if it was disabled I guess it couldn't have caused problem. So, my guess is that the problematic add-on was this one :

I think an online service as suggested by Jojo would be better to reveal shortened URLs.
