if you don't use java often or for anything else outside of web browsing, you might consider using portable firefox and portable java. It's what I do and seems to work fine. I managed to remove it by deleting a npj160_1.dll file (well name is from memory but it looks someting like that, the last number will be different depending on version)
you maybe able to find that file in your installed java folder to delete but I'm not sure if it'll mess with other applications using java since I only use java for webbrwosing
