I have never read of such a problem, so cannot say exactly what's causing it. But, I can just try to take a guess.

You said you uninstalled Firefox using Revo Uninstaller. After that, what were the steps you followed in installing Firefox and its add-ons? I would be interested in the steps for add-ons mainly.

You can try uninstalling and installing Firefox again. This time, uninstall it from Add/Remove without using Revo. Also, after that find any remanants folders/folders from Program Files, and Documents and Settings folders for Mozilla, or Firefox. After that, try to reinstall Firefox.

Try to install one add-on at a time, and see if its working properly. One of the add-ons might be creating problems.
