I remember vasa1 wanted exactly this feature in ad blockers. He will be one happy guy now, if he is using Chrome, that is .
Thanks for remembering ! I've managed to get Privoxy going and it has the advantage of being able to work across browsers. So, for instance, if I run both Chrome and Firefox, I don't have to use an adblocking extension for either and one blocking list will work for both.

The disadvantage to Privoxy is that it is a bit on the nerdy side but that's not a serious problem!
