Not to hijack the thread, but I wanted to give 2 recommendations if you are re-writing the registry cleaner page.

Before I do, I'm sure that you are going to give the normal caveats about backing up/making drive images and being extremely careful about what you are doing....

If you haven't considered EasyCleaner or RegScrubXP, I urge you to check them out. I've been using them for years; though much less over the past several months than I used to use. I'm becoming less and less convinced of even the need for such software. Regardless, both make backups of the registry entries they delete and both are very conservative.

I don't know if they have Windows 7 versions available or even 64 bit versions available.
