What is it that you wish to accomplish exactly?

If you want an EXACT copy of the webpage, then Ritho's suggestion of a URL to PDF converter is the only way to achieve that goal. You are correct in stating that it will not be directly editable once converted.

If you wish to download all the components, HTML, CSS, Images, JS, etc for a site, for offline viewing and editing, then you will need to use web site grabber of sorts. I use a commercial utility from a well-known Dreamweaver add-on vendor. It works but is not perfect. The challenges you face with any of these webpage grabbing utilities is that you are never guaranteed that the format of the page will remain when you look at the page offline. There are simply too many variables that drive a webpage's look.
